We have just had 3 weeks traveling the north island with our children before returning to christchurch. The welcome inn, was by far the most spacious 2 bedroom unit we stay in. It had everything in it that we needed, walking distance to supermarket, very clean and just the loveliest people running the motels. For us, the space inside was amazing because we could spread out and had plenty of room to reorganize bags before the trip home. A class accommodation. Will definitely be stopping there again.
